Switching from HubSpot
Bring the pipeline you already have.
HubSpot is a good CRM. The question is what you had to buy around it: the data tool, the sequencing seats, the meetings link, the proposal tool. Signal includes those, and every plan has unlimited users, so the bill stops growing every time you hire.

Why teams move
It is rarely the CRM itself.
It is the four things you buy to make the CRM useful.
Three reasons
The seat count decides the bill
Every person who touches sales needs a paid seat, and the tools around it are per seat too. A team of six ends up paying for a great deal more than six things.
A CRM records, it does not find
It holds what happened. Finding the prospect, revealing the contact and running the outreach are separate purchases, which is where most of the spend actually goes.
It still has to be fed
Reps update records so somebody else can report on them. When the record is a by-product of doing the work instead, hygiene stops being a Friday chore.
How the move works
Export, import, connect, run both for a fortnight.
The switch
Your data comes across by CSV
Export companies, contacts and deals from HubSpot and import them here. ANI reads the columns and maps them, so a HubSpot export lands without you building a field mapping by hand.
- Accounts, contacts, prospects and deals, each with their own import
- ANI maps the columns, whatever the file is called
- Owner is set in Signal, so nothing lands against the wrong person

Your stages, kept or rebuilt
Rename the stages to the ones your team already uses and set the probability on each. The weighted forecast follows what you set, so the first pipeline review in Signal looks like the pipeline you know.
- Six stages out of the box, renameable and reorderable
- Your own probabilities, so the forecast matches how you really sell
- Several pipelines when you sell more than one thing

And the tools around it stop being separate
Prospecting data, sequencing, the booking link, decks and proposals are all part of Signal. Connect Gmail or Outlook and your calendar, and the rest of the stack can be cancelled one subscription at a time.
- Prospect data and sequencing included, metered on the workspace
- A booking page and proposals, on the same deal
- Unlimited users on every plan, so hiring does not change the bill

What is different
What you gain, and what you give up.
An honest list. Signal is a sales system, so it is deeper on selling and lighter on marketing automation.
Both sides
You gain prospect data
Finding companies and decision-makers, without a separate contract.
Learn moreYou gain unlimited users
Everyone who touches sales is in it, with limits on the workspace.
Learn moreYou gain proposals and decks
Built from the deal, sent as links, tracked when they are opened.
Learn moreYou give up marketing automation
Landing pages, forms and nurture campaigns are a marketing job. Signal is built for sales.
You give up a huge app marketplace
Signal connects to the tools most sales teams actually use, and that list is deliberately short.
Learn moreYou keep your inbox
Gmail or Outlook, your calendar, and your accounting system.
Learn moreGetting started
A fortnight, comfortably.
Four steps
- Day one
Export from HubSpot
Companies, contacts and deals. Take the custom fields you actually use.
- Day one
Import and map
ANI does the column mapping. Check the close dates before you accept it.
- Day two
Rebuild your stages
Same names, honest probabilities. Then the forecast is comparable.
- Weeks one and two
Run both for a fortnight
Then cancel. Most teams find the sequencing seats go first.

Questions
Switching questions, answered.
Will I lose my history?
Accounts, contacts and deals come across with their fields. Activity history that lives inside HubSpot stays there, so most teams keep read access for a period while the new history builds up here.
How long does the move take?
A day for the data and the stages, then a fortnight of running both if you want the comfort. The import itself is usually the quickest part, because ANI maps the columns.
Is Signal a CRM?
Empiraa Signal is a CRM and more. It holds the accounts, contacts, deals and pipeline a CRM holds, and it is also the B2B prospect database, the enrichment, the email sequences, the booking link and the proposal tool. Six subscriptions worth of software in one system, with unlimited users. Signal beside HubSpot.
What about our marketing automation?
Keep it. Signal does not do landing pages, forms or nurture campaigns, and it is better that we say so than pretend otherwise. Contacts can sync to Mailchimp or Brevo if that is where campaigns run. See the integrations.
What will it cost us?
Launch is $99 a month, Drive $249 and Command $549, for the whole workspace with unlimited users. Compare that against every seat and every add-on on your current invoice rather than against a list price. See pricing.
Can we get our data out again?
Yes, by export, whenever you want. Your data is kept separate from every other workspace and is never used to train AI models. Nothing here is designed to make leaving difficult.
