Information you provide us directly:
To create an account with Empiraa, you will be required to provide us with certain information, including personally identifiable information (“personal information”) such as a username, your first and last names, birthdate, phone number and email address. We may also collect personal information in your User Content posted to the Service, as well as in any communications you send to us in relation to the Service. We use this personal information to operate, maintain and provide the features and functionality of the Service to you, to communicate with you, and to address and respond to any questions or concerns you raise about the Service. If you don’t provide this personal information to us, you may not be able to access or use our Service or your experience using our Service might be impacted.
Information we collect from you automatically:

We store and process information in Australia and in other countries where our partners and service providers are located. In particular, we host information using cloud-based servers located in Australia. We take steps to ensure that your information remains protected wherever it is stored and processed in accordance with applicable laws. To the extent required under applicable laws, you consent to the transfer of information to the countries where Empiraa’s partners and service providers maintain hosting or other information processing facilities.
How we keep information secure
We care about the security of your information and we use appropriate safeguards and access controls such as username and password authentication and data encryption to protect the integrity and security of all information collected through the Service. However, we cannot ensure the security of information transmitted to Empiraa, nor can we guarantee that information on the Service will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
How we manage security incidents
If any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Empiraa will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where appropriate or required by applicable laws, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised.

How long we keep information
Following the termination of your account, Empiraa will retain your registration information for a commercially reasonable time, and for as long as we have a valid purpose to do so. In particular, we will retain your information for the purpose of complying with our legal obligations and for backup and archival purposes. We may retain anonymized User Content indefinitely for internal product development purposes, as set out in our User Terms.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect our current practices and to comply with applicable laws. If we make any material changes to the way that we collect, use, store and/or share personal information we will notify you via a notice on our website and/or by sending you an email.
