What does strategy execution software cost? It depends whose strategy.
Empiraa GPS publishes two lists. GPS for Business runs from A$199 to A$2,990 a month including GST, priced per organisation with unlimited users on every plan. GPS for Professional Services runs from A$149 to A$1,690 a month including GST, priced by how many client accounts you hold. The number that moves the price is not how many people log in. It is whether you are running your own strategy or running other people's.
- Set up with your plan
- Unlimited users
- 30-day pilot

Why the question is hard to answer
Most of this category will not tell you.
Search the question and you mostly get a contact form. Where prices do appear they are per user per month, which is the one shape that tells you least about what you will actually pay.
What makes a quote hard to compare
Per user is a moving target
Strategy software is bought for a leadership team and then needs everybody who owns an action, which is most of the business. Priced per seat, the real cost appears a quarter after the decision, when the rollout widens.
The implementation is often separate
A licence figure quoted without onboarding, migration or training is not the price. Ask what it costs to get your existing plan into the system, and whether that is included or invoiced.
Two buyers, one category
An organisation running its own plan and a practice running plans for forty clients need different things and get priced differently. A single list cannot serve both, which is why we stopped trying.
The two lists
Priced per organisation, or priced per client.
How it works
GPS for Business: A$199 to A$2,990 a month
For an organisation delivering its own priorities. Essentials A$199, Growth A$449, Business A$899, and Managed from A$2,990 where our team runs the implementation and the reviews with you. Every plan includes unlimited users, so the price does not move when the rollout widens. What changes between plans is how much plan you can hold: entities, goals and objectives.- Unlimited users on every plan
- Tiers limit how much, not which features
- A 30-day free pilot, arranged after a demo
GPS for Professional Services: A$149 to A$1,690 a month
For an advisor, accountant, consultant or coach running plans on behalf of clients. Priced by client accounts: Solo A$149 for 5, Starter A$299 for 15, Practice A$499 for 40, Firm A$990 for 100 and Group A$1,690 for 300. Every feature is on every tier, so the only lever is how many clients you hold.- Every feature on every tier
- Your own team is unlimited, as are your clients
- A self-serve 30-day free pilot, card required, nothing charged for 30 days
Annual is twelve times monthly, and still worth doing
There is no subscription discount for paying yearly: annual is twelve monthly payments, and we would rather say so than dress it up. What annual does include on Professional Services is onboarding and the migration of your plans, KPIs, client lists and templates. On monthly those are A$1,490 and A$990. So if you would have bought both, year one on annual costs A$2,480 less for the same thing. If you would not have bought either, the two are identical and there is no reason to commit.Worked through
What a year actually comes to.
Monthly list prices including GST, multiplied by twelve. The right-hand column adds onboarding and migration at the monthly rate, which is what you would pay if you took both and did not commit to a year.
Year one, both lists
Business Essentials
A$199 a month. A$2,388 over twelve months. One entity, with unlimited users.
Business Growth
A$449 a month. A$5,388 over twelve months.
Business Business
A$899 a month. A$10,788 over twelve months, across up to three entities.
Services Solo
A$149 a month, 5 client accounts. A$1,788 a year, or A$4,268 monthly with onboarding and migration added.
Services Practice
A$499 a month, 40 client accounts. A$5,988 a year, which is A$12.48 per client account per month.
Services Firm
A$990 a month, 100 client accounts. A$11,880 a year, which is A$9.90 per client account per month.
Questions
Questions about what it costs
Is Empiraa GPS priced per user?
No. Every plan on both lists includes unlimited users. GPS for Business is priced per organisation and GPS for Professional Services is priced by the number of client accounts you hold, so adding people to either never changes the bill.
Which list applies to an accounting or advisory firm?
Professional Services, if you are running plans on behalf of clients. It starts at A$149 a month including GST for five client accounts. A firm quoted from the Business list gets a number that is wrong by a multiple rather than by a margin, because the two lists are built around different things.
Do you discount annual billing?
No. Annual is twelve times the monthly price, with no subscription discount. On Professional Services, annual does include onboarding and the migration of your existing plans, which cost A$1,490 and A$990 on monthly billing, so year one is A$2,480 cheaper on annual if you would have taken both.
What does it cost to get our existing strategy in?
On Professional Services, migration of plans, KPIs, client lists and templates is included on annual billing and A$990 on monthly. It covers moving from spreadsheets and decks, so the first thing you see in GPS is your own plan rather than an empty system.
Can we try it before we pay?
Both lists have a 30-day free pilot. Professional Services is self-serve: you pick a plan, add a card, nothing is charged for 30 days and it converts automatically unless you cancel. GPS for Business arranges the pilot after a demo, because the scope is agreed with you first.
Who should buy something else?
A single team of under ten people with one plan and no board will get most of the way with a shared document and a weekly meeting, and should not pay for this. A practice with one or two clients is below the point where Solo pays for itself. We would rather say that here than in month three.
Not sure which list applies to you? Ask ANI and get a straight answer.
Both lists are published. Start on the one that fits.
Running your own strategy, or running your clients’. Thirty days free either way, and the plans are built differently because the work is.
