Empiraa GPS vs WorkBoardAI, formerly Quantive

Quantive is now WorkBoard. If you did not choose that, you have options.

WorkBoard acquired Quantive on 28 May 2025, and quantive.com now redirects to workboard.com across the whole domain. Quantive customers were moved onto the WorkBoard platform. If you are searching for a Quantive alternative because the product you bought is not the product you are using, this page explains what happened and compares Empiraa GPS against WorkBoardAI, which is the thing that actually exists now.

Quick verdict

Choose WorkBoardAI, formerly Quantive

WorkBoardAI is a capable enterprise platform with deep Microsoft and Workday relationships and a serious agentic AI story. If the migration has gone well and the depth suits you, there is no reason to move again.

Choose Empiraa GPS

A strong fit if the migration was not your decision, if you are now paying for more platform than you use, or if you want framework flexibility rather than an OKR-shaped system.

What actually happened to Quantive

Quantive was founded as Gtmhub, renamed to Quantive in December 2022, and launched Quantive StrategyAI in February 2024. WorkBoard announced its acquisition of Quantive on 28 May 2025, telling customers they would migrate to the WorkBoard platform over the following months with transition support. As of September 2026 that migration is complete enough that quantive.com serves no independent content: the root, the pricing page, the product pages, the customer pages and the old campaign landing pages all redirect into workboard.com, and the Quantive name does not appear on the successor product page. The live product is WorkBoardAI.

Neither of us publishes a price

WorkBoard’s pricing page redirects to a demo request, and Empiraa GPS pricing is shared in a demo. So this section can only usefully say what shapes each number, and one of those shapes is whether seats are counted.

AI comparison

WorkBoardAI has more agents. GPS has one strategist.

This is not a case where the smaller platform quietly wins. WorkBoardAI runs three named agents and an enterprise knowledge graph, and that is genuinely more than ANI does. The difference is what you are buying it inside, and whether it is included.

Which platform fits your organisation?

WorkBoardAI, formerly Quantive

Stay with WorkBoardAI if the migration has gone well.

If the platform fits, the agents are earning their keep and your integrations came across intact, moving again would cost you more than it saves. WorkBoardAI is a serious enterprise product with real Microsoft and Workday relationships, and a second migration inside eighteen months is not something to take on lightly.

Empiraa GPS

Look at Empiraa GPS if the fit changed when the vendor did.

You want strategy execution across KPIs, OKRs, Rocks or a custom framework rather than an OKR-shaped system, an AI strategist included rather than quoted, unlimited seats so the price does not move as departments join, and a vendor that has not just been through an acquisition.

Moving after the Quantive migration

You have already exported and re-imported a strategy once this cycle. This is designed so you do not have to do the hard parts twice.

1

Start from what came across

Whatever survived the Quantive to WorkBoard migration is the structure GPS starts from. Objectives, owners and measures import; you are not rebuilding from a blank plan.

2

Fix what the first migration broke

Most migrations lose something: an integration, a history, a custom field. This is the moment to decide which of those actually mattered rather than carrying the gap forward again.

3

Decide the framework properly

Quantive and WorkBoard both assume OKRs. If parts of your organisation were forcing business-as-usual measures into that shape, they become KPIs or quarterly priorities in GPS instead.

4

Run the rhythm

Check-ins, meetings and reporting on live data, with ANI flagging stalled priorities and risks before the quarterly review rather than during it.

Implementation and training are included, which matters more than usual for a team that has already done this once this year.

FAQs

What happened to Quantive?

WorkBoard acquired Quantive, announced on 28 May 2025. Quantive customers were told they would migrate to the WorkBoard platform over the following months with transition support. As of 19 September 2026, quantive.com no longer serves independent content: the root, the pricing page, the product and customer pages and the old campaign landing pages all redirect to workboard.com, and the Quantive name does not appear on the successor product page. The live product is WorkBoardAI.

Is Quantive the same as Gtmhub?

Yes, historically. The company launched as Gtmhub and renamed to Quantive in December 2022, with Gtmhub Results becoming Quantive Results. In February 2024 it launched Quantive StrategyAI as a broader platform with Results as a named component inside it. Then WorkBoard acquired the company in May 2025. So Gtmhub, Quantive Results and Quantive StrategyAI are all earlier names for a lineage that now ends at WorkBoardAI.

Can I still buy Quantive?

Not as an independent product. Every quantive.com path checked redirects into workboard.com, including the pricing page, and the successor product page makes no mention of Quantive. If you are being sold something branded Quantive, ask what you are actually contracting for.

Should I move off WorkBoardAI?

Not automatically, and this page is not going to tell you to. WorkBoardAI is a capable enterprise platform with three AI agents, a strategic portfolio layer and deep Microsoft and Workday relationships. If the migration went well and the depth is being used, moving again inside eighteen months would cost more than it saves. The reasons to look elsewhere are a fit that changed when the vendor did, paying for portfolio capability you do not use, or wanting frameworks other than OKRs.

How much does WorkBoardAI cost?

Not published. Its pricing page redirected to a demo request when checked on 19 September 2026, and no figures appear anywhere on the site. Whether the AI agents are included in a base licence is also not published. If you migrated from Quantive, the question worth asking is what your renewal looks like once any transition terms from the acquisition end.

What does Empiraa GPS do that WorkBoardAI does not?

Framework flexibility is the main one. GPS supports KPIs, OKRs, Rocks and custom strategy models, so parts of the organisation that were never really running OKRs do not have to pretend they are. GPS also includes unlimited seats, so bringing another department into the plan does not change the price, and implementation and training are included rather than quoted.

What does WorkBoardAI do that Empiraa GPS does not?

A fair amount, and it is worth knowing before you move. Three distinct AI agents rather than one strategist, strategic portfolio management with scenario analysis, an enterprise knowledge graph linking strategy to funding and skills, a wider integration set, and Microsoft and Workday as named investors and partners. GPS does not attempt the portfolio layer or the knowledge graph.

Not sure this comparison is fair? Ask ANI. It will tell you when the other one is the better fit.

The acquisition was announced on 28 May 2025 and is documented in WorkBoard’s own newsroom and in a dated press release. The redirect behaviour of quantive.com, and WorkBoardAI’s product description, AI agents, integrations and quote-only pricing, were checked directly on 19 September 2026. The Gtmhub to Quantive rename dates from December 2022 and the Quantive StrategyAI launch from February 2024, both from dated announcements. Rows marked “not published” mean no figure or statement was found on workboard.com that day. Quantive, Gtmhub, WorkBoard and WorkBoardAI are trademarks of their respective owners. Empiraa is not affiliated with any of them.
