For sales coaches
You coach on Tuesday. You cannot see Wednesday.
The session happens and then you are blind for a week, so you coach against what the rep tells you happened. Every Empiraa Signal plan has unlimited users, which means your seat costs the client nothing, which means for once you can see the week you are being paid to change.

Today, upcoming and overdue
Three numbers that tell you whether the week is under control before you open anything.
Every action carries its deal
A call is not a floating task. It belongs to a deal, so the pipeline knows when it was last touched.
And the person it is with
Contact and account on the row, so you do not open three screens to make one call.
Calls and emails in one list
Whatever the channel, the follow-up lives in the same place and counts towards the same day.
What they are paying you for
Behaviour change in a sales team.
Call structure, discovery that gets past the first answer, handling the objection rather than conceding to it, and the discipline to send the fourth email when the first three did nothing. None of it is knowledge. All of it is habit, and habit is what degrades between sessions.
Which means you are hired for something you can only observe one hour a week, and evaluated on something that happens the other thirty-nine. That gap is the whole commercial problem with coaching as a service.
Where it stops working
The month the client asks what changed.
You have the session, and then nothing. The client’s CRM is the sales manager’s tool, priced per seat, and nobody is buying a licence for the coach, so your evidence is what a rep chooses to tell you about a week they half remember.
A month later the client asks what has improved. The honest answer is that you do not know: the pipeline number moved for six reasons and you cannot separate yours from the other five. So the renewal turns on whether they liked the sessions, which is a review of your personality rather than your work.
- No seat in the client’s CRM, because a per-seat licence has to be justified
- Evidence is a rep’s recollection of their own behaviour
- The only shared number is pipeline, which moves for reasons that are not yours
- Renewal turns on rapport rather than on a demonstrated change
What is different
The week between sessions stops being invisible.
Four things, and the first one is the structural reason the other three are possible at all.
- Every plan has unlimited users, so you get a seat without the client approving a per-seat licence for their coach, which is the reason you usually do not get one
- Activity is visible: what was sent, what was called, what stopped after the first attempt and what did not
- You coach against what happened in the week rather than against a recollection of it, which changes the session from advice to evidence
- The behaviour you are teaching is a sequence in the product, so it keeps running on the days nobody feels like it
Coaching that cannot see the week between sessions is a motivational service. Coaching that can is a performance one, and it is priced differently.
How an engagement runs
Same sessions. Different evidence.
This does not coach anybody. It removes the reason you have been coaching blind.
- Week one
Take a seat, at no cost to the client
Unlimited users on every plan means adding you changes the client’s bill by nothing. The objection you usually hit here does not exist, which is the point.
- Before each session
Read the week, then pick the session
What was sent, what was called, which deals stopped after one attempt, which stage they stall in. You arrive knowing what to work on instead of spending twenty minutes finding out.
- After each session
Turn the behaviour into a sequence
The follow-up cadence you are teaching runs as a sequence out of the rep’s own inbox, and it keeps running on the days nobody feels like it. Habit, with a backstop.
- At the review
Show the change, not the rapport
Activity before and after, stage conversion, deals that used to go quiet at the second touch. Your renewal conversation has evidence in it, which is a different negotiation.
The behaviour you teach, running on the days nobody feels like it
The follow-up cadence from the session becomes a sequence out of the rep’s own inbox, stopping the moment somebody replies. Habit, with a backstop under it.

Sent from your own inbox
Your address, your signature, your sending reputation. Not a shared relay the spam filters already know.
The first email
Goes out the moment someone is enrolled, with their name and company filled in.
Then a nudge, three days later
Set the gap in days and hours. The sequence keeps its place whatever your week does.
It stops when they reply
A reply takes them out of the sequence, so nobody gets chased after they have already answered.
In the product
What you can actually see, once you have a seat.
Not everything. The list below is what is logged where the deal is, which is enough to coach against and is more than a recollection.
Four things
Activity, by rep and by deal
Calls, emails, meetings and notes against the deal they belong to, with what is overdue and what was never followed up.
How activity worksSequences, and where they stop
Multi-step outreach from the rep’s own inbox, stopping the moment somebody replies, with deliverability shown per sequence so a problem is visible early.
How sequences workThe pipeline, by stage
Which stage deals stall in, which are stale, and what is at risk. Coaching a rep who stalls at proposal is a different session from coaching one who stalls at discovery.
How the pipeline worksThe forecast against the target
Weighted pipeline against the number, and the gap expressed as deals needed rather than as revenue missing, which is the version a rep can act on.
How forecasting worksWhat you coached last Tuesday
Which of these could you check on Wednesday?
Put in three behaviours from your last session. The test is not whether the coaching was right, it is whether anything outside the rep’s memory recorded that it happened.
nothing to clear, so the stage means whatever the rep hopes; nothing logs it, so the cadence is reported rather than run.
no owner, so the deal sits between two people; nothing to clear, so the stage means whatever the rep hopes; nothing logs it, so the cadence is reported rather than run.
1 of 3
Only 1 of these could be run by something other than you.
One is close and missing a field, which is the easiest kind to fix and the kind that quietly never gets fixed.
One is a statement of intent. Worth having in the document, impossible for anybody to act on.
A behaviour that runs as a sequence, or that shows as logged activity against the deal, is something you can coach against next week. One that exists only in the session is something you take the rep’s word for, and a month later neither of you can say what changed.
What this does not do
Three things it does not do, including the one you are probably comparing it to.
If you are evaluating coaching software you are likely also looking at conversation intelligence, which does something completely different.
It does not record or analyse calls
No call recording, no transcription, no talk-ratio analysis, no keyword spotting. If reviewing actual calls is central to how you coach, you keep whatever you use for that. This shows what happened and when, not what was said.
It cannot make a rep log activity
It is much easier to log where the deal already is than in a separate system, and sequences log themselves. But a rep determined not to record anything will not, and no CRM has ever solved that. What you will see instead is a very clear picture of who does not log, which is itself a coaching conversation.
It is not a learning platform
No courses, no certification, no content library, no quizzes. It is where the selling happens rather than where the training lives. Plenty of coaches run this alongside their own material.

Questions
Sales coaches, answered.
How does a sales coach get visibility into a client’s CRM?
Usually they do not, because a seat has to be approved and paid for and a coach is the easiest line to cut. Every Empiraa Signal plan has unlimited users at no extra cost, so adding the coach changes the client’s bill by nothing and the objection disappears. That is the practical difference between coaching against evidence and coaching against a recollection.
Is Empiraa Signal really unlimited users on every plan?
Yes, on all three plans, and it is priced per workspace rather than per seat. It is not a tier feature or an add-on, and there is no seat count to negotiate. That is why a client can add their whole team, a part-time seller and their coach without a pricing conversation. Pricing, and what you earn.
Can I see activity per rep?
Yes. Calls, emails, meetings and notes against the deals they belong to, what is overdue, and which deals stopped after a single attempt. You can also see where in the pipeline a particular rep tends to stall, which is usually the most useful single fact for planning a session. How activity works.
Does it record calls?
No. There is no call recording, transcription or conversation analysis. If listening to calls is central to your method you will keep whatever you use for that, and this sits alongside it showing what happened, when, and what did not get followed up.
Can I work with several clients in it?
Yes, and that is the normal pattern for a coach. Each client is their own Empiraa Signal workspace and you hold a seat in each. Once you have three clients on board, your own workspace is free for as long as you hold three or more. The partner terms.
What if the client already has a CRM?
Then the honest question is whether you can get a seat in it, and usually you cannot. Where a client is genuinely committed to their CRM, this is a harder sell and worth being realistic about. Where they are paying per seat for a CRM and five other subscriptions, the comparison is not CRM against CRM, it is one system against five invoices. What Empiraa Signal replaces.
How do I start?
14 days free with no credit card. Set up a workspace, put one client’s pipeline in it, and see whether the week between sessions looks like something you could coach against. That is an afternoon rather than a project.
Bring one client and see.
14 days free, no credit card, and you can have a client’s pipeline in it in an afternoon.
